Sarah Armstrong, Bill Crane, Sidney James, Cyrus M., and Kandis O. in "I Am"

Interact is pleased to announce that Sarah Armstrong, Bill Crane, Sidney James, Cyrus M., and Kandis O. have been selected for inclusion in I Am, an exhibition organized by Fresh Eye Gallery and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

I Am is a juried group exhibition of work created by artists with developmental disabilities living in Minnesota. The exhibition organizers write, "The I Am exhibition celebrates the diversity of the human experience. From individuals to large organizations, all of us benefit from a more inclusive, equitable world. By amplifying the voices of people with developmental disabilities, we acknowledge their expertise in their own creativity, experiences, ideas, and challenges. With this exhibition, our goal is to showcase and celebrate artists with disabilities living in Minnesota and to foster education and understanding in the community as a whole."

The Court's Disability Law Program is part of the District of Minnesota's Public Outreach Committee's work and is co-sponsored by the Minnesota Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities, the Minnesota Chapter of the Bar Association, the Minnesota Disability Bar Association, and MSS.
