Rosemary Perronteau’s work is driven by her interest in form, balance, and texture. In her intricately beaded rock sculptures and wearables, Perronteau plays with geometric shapes, line, and pattern design. She is influenced by the Ojibwe designs of her Native American ancestors. Her works on paper explore the intersection of pop culture, celebrity, and pattern using found images from the internet.
Perronteau has presented work in exhibitions throughout the Twin Cities, inlcuding Randomlandat The White Page (2019), Work with Your Quirk! at the Bridgewater Lofts (2019), and Underwater at Interact Gallery (2019)
